Welcome to the Box office Tournament at the-movie-times.com
In each month long tournament, we will select the biggest movie releases of that month. The goal of the game is to predict the opening weekend box office in the U.S. for each of those movies. The person with the most accurate predictions wins that month's tournament. Not only will they get to brag to their friends and family about their awesome Box Office skills, they will also win a prize. Each week the results will be updated for the movies released that weekend, so that you can see how you did that week and how you are doing overall. Each tournament should last at least 4 rounds and a new tournament will be added each month.
For each player, the score will be determined by calculating the difference between the prediction and the actual box office of each movie. It doesn't matter if you are under or over. Then each of those differences will be added up. That's the score. The person with the lowest total score wins the tournament.

Rules:
Limit to one entry per email address. Prize available only to US and Canada residents, unless otherwise specified. Holiday weekends will be limited to the Friday to Sunday box office total. In case of a tie, whoever submitted their entry first wins. I'll play to see how I do, but I don't count in the final standings. Email address required to contact the winner. It will not be posted or used in any other way.
